Andrew Lilico

Andrew Lilico is the managing director of Europe Economics. He is an expert on assessing the impact of regulation and has spent more than 10 years analyzing the impact of tobacco control regulation in various countries around the world. He is particularly well-known for his expertise in analyzing the impacts of the U.K.’s departure from the European Union, having conducted many studies of the topic for the U.K. government, firms and associations. He was one of three economists chosen to present at the American Economic Association’s “Brexit—Six Months Later” panel held in Chicago, Illinois, USA, in 2017. His first degree was from St. John’s College in Oxford, England, and his doctorate is from University College, London.
