Diane Raverdy-Lambert

Diane Raverdy-Lambert is chief scientist and director of regulatory affairs at Schweitzer-Mauduit International (SWM) within the company’s Engineered Papers business unit. She plays a leadership role with respect to tobacco and papers for next-generation tobacco products, road-mapping product design, quality assurance and stewardship patterns. After graduating with a Master of Science degree in agricultural engineering, she joined SWM’s affiliate LTR Industries in 1990 as a product developer and worked in several R&D, product development and regulatory affairs positions dealing with both reconstituted tobacco and papers. Raverdy-Lambert has been an active member of Coresta, serving several terms on the scientific commission and the board, including terms as president of the product technology study group and as president of the board. She is currently the vice president of the board of Coresta.
