Oliver Kershaw

Oliver Kershaw is the founder and managing director of E-Cigarette Forum (ECF), the co-founder of the E-Cigarette Summit, co-founder of Vaping.com and a director of XOLO, a next-generation vapor system.

Kershaw started ECF in 2007 after acquiring an early generation e-cigarette and realizing its immense potential but also the need for innovation and popularization. He set ECF up as the technology’s innovation hub, and ECF’s users generated much of the technology, advocacy and early industry that has gone on to characterize the vapor globally.

Kershaw has collected one of the richest data sets of user behavior through his annual surveys. He has advised U.K. government on policy.

Kershaw co-founded the E-Cigarette Summit in 2013 at London’s Royal Society. The event now runs annually in both London and Washington, D.C.

Vaping.com was launched in 2016 and has become one of the top U.S. e-commerce platforms with a specific focus on new users.

Kershaw acts as a consultant on innovation and intellectual property in vapor technology, and he is a director of “Clearing the Air,” a new campaigning organization that aims to correct the poor public representation of new nicotine technology.

He gained a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and lives in London with his wife and three children.
